educate youself and stop consuming brainrot...

as im getting older and more aware of the world around me, i'm realizing just how important it is to educate yourself. along with this, i've been increasingly cognizant of the "political and economic state of the world right now", as silly as that sounds, and therefore have been committed to living life with more awareness of what i'm doing with myself and my time. i wanted to read more, become more radicalized in some of my political stances as i'm becomming more aware of the corrupt systems we've become far too comfortable with and issues we're oblivious to. i now realize how important it is to advocate for the causes you care about. i wanted to consume more meaningful media without being advertised to or being the victim of whatever big corporation decided to take some of my favorite movies off of their platforms. i wanted to learn a new skill, which is why i even started coding in the first place, falling in love with it and having the desire of making this sort of thing my job. anyway, all of this to say: stay educated and then educate yourself more. below, i have some resources i've gathered and have used myself to do just that. i also created my own simple html guide and cheatsheet to get you started with one of these websites yourself! i love you all and hope to become site-neighbors soon!
